About the Role

You will design data platforms for clients drowning in spreadsheets: ingestion from SaaS and databases, warehouse modeling, and the transformation layer that makes metrics consistent.

Responsibilities

• Build and orchestrate pipelines (Airflow/Prefect) from diverse sources

• Model warehouses (star schemas, dbt) for BI and ML consumption

• Own data quality: tests, freshness SLAs, and lineage documentation

• Optimize storage/compute costs across Postgres, BigQuery, or Snowflake

• Partner with analysts to turn business questions into models

Requirements

• 3+ years building production data pipelines

• Expert SQL and solid Python

• Experience with at least one orchestrator and one cloud warehouse

• Rigor about idempotency, backfills, and schema evolution
